Who We Are
The Silver Springs Professional Dive Team is an all volunteer team of experienced local divers that meets once a month to scrub the glass on the glass bottom boats, keep the I Spy statues clean, pick up garbage, and find lost items in the main spring and Silver River in Silver River State Park.
We also monitor and clean the artifacts in the Silver River. Over our 10 years of service, we have learned to make the treasures visible to visitors without touching or molesting them.
Our Mission
Misson Statement
The Silver Springs Professional Dive Team is an all-volunteer team of certified and experienced scuba divers joining together for the purpose of natural resource conservation and protection of Silver Springs and Silver River, cleaning of the glass bottom boats and other underwater features, assuring known artifacts are intact and left alone, removing trash, and recovering lost articles, all as a service to Silver Springs State Park.
